You can quarantine them and then find out if those files are something needed by your Windows. If you dont need them, just delete them. Quarantine will isolate those files so that it won't infect other files.

You delete the items if you know there are not supposed to be there, and quarantine them if you wish them to be healed later (quarantine will prevent the virus infecting other files).

Not all anti-virus software can do the healing. So try using AVG 7.1

welp...depends on wat kinda antivirus software u r using...n how it is configured...if prompted wheter to delete or quarantine, better choose delete, unless u want to investigate which files being infected n those files r important(files associated with system)...but usually when it cant b deleted, the software will automatically quarantine the infected files...later,when u update the antivirus software,it will send the info of the quarantined files to the database for any patches or updated virus patterns to handle@delete those infected files...if the virus pattern is not available during the update, dont worry...they will use the information they got from those infected files and find some ways to settle the problems.... >_<

if ur using norton or macaffe just do nothin instead go to trendmicro.com and do a scan there its free and its a REAL antivirus not a piece of crap like norton then do a spyware scan there to if it finds anythin just delete the stuff it finds

do not use system restore ull be restoring the viruses to becuz those files will also be infected every 1 knows its safer to have system restore turned off !!!!!

I, personally, will delete them, and if it can't be deleted, iw will be quarantined, if it can't be quarantined, it is "probabbly" system file, you must replace the infected file with a new one, and delete the infected file after replacing. Keep in mind that I personally will do that, consult for more answers. Good day!

I think that what he said pertaining with your situation should help fixing this computer virus probem...after that, please go ahead and back up important data of your system, then preparing to return your system to the previous settings(system restore...to the settings before you got infected from the virus)

Please consider yourself warned from the violent nature of the network system...planning to install yourself a firewall...to scan and detect any bad macros/directx files...try using Spyspot search and destroy and adware to help you managing your network front desk...wish you having a good time on the net.

The virus scanner will quarintine them if it can. You should delete them from there. If it can't quarintine them them you should follow the instructions from the Symantec site on manual removal of the virus.
