I think that would be around the right age (although you didn't state what age) or around puberty age. I started maybe when I was 12 or so. If it bothers you and you find it unattractively noticeable, then start to shave. Talk to your mom or something (I do apologize if you are an adult) about getting shaving cream and a nice quality razor (not one of those cheap, free, icky ones!). I use Venus ones and they're very nice. Be very careful not to cut yourself! I gave myself a few cuts. One time I thought I had a dull, older razor but I forgot I had replace it with a new, sharp razor and I shaved too hard and I accidentally pulled some skin off. It hurt a lot. So just be careful and shave every other day (or every day if you don't like the stubble). Good luck!

My daughter started shaving at age 11 she is 12 now. I think that when the hair on your legs and arms start getting darker it is time to shave. By this time a little girl starts worrying about how they look, and I think that it starts to bother them. My daughter came to me and ask me what I thought. I also think that it is important that a mom or step-mom should explain to a little girl the does and don't. I went to school with girl's up til High School and their mom's would not let them shave even at that age. I know that it bothered them. And I think that is mean unless for religious reasons. I know that people made fun of them.

NEVER!! Shaving makes the hairs grow in courser and blacker! You tried just bleaching them with a peroxide based hair dye? Or use a hair removal cream a this will keep your legs soft to the touch without stubble.Go ahead and shave your underarms or use the hair removal treatment for stubble free feeling.

as the other respondents have said, when you begin to see the hair under your arms and on your legs and at your vee become more noticeable, it it time to start shaving those areas...
be sure to use a sharp, fresh razor and take it slowly...there is no reason to rush and nick yourself somewhere that will be uncomfortable while it heals...
or use a bladeless system such as "veet" or "nair" (just be sure to do the recommended patch test and make sure you don't have an adverse reaction to the product) it would be a major nuisance to trade the displeasing look of some body hair for a bright red patch of skin where you've had a bad reaction

Do it whenever you think it is time for you, but beware: The more you shave the faster and thicker it grows in. Pretty soon you will be shaving everyday! I would try not to shave unless you are wearing something that makes your hair noticeable. If you are going to wear pants, then you don't really need shaved legs.

Normally teenage girls start whenever they begin their periods or a little before. It's just a part of the process, since when you start your monthly, those hormones cause your hair to get thicker and some hairs to grow. But anywhere from fifth grade to seventh grade is the norm. As always, though, don't shave unless you're comfortable with it.

Well, I think shaving your legs should probably start in Middle School, just cuz that's when other girls will start judging you on it :-\. And and underarm shaving should start... well, when you start growing hair there.

Use Nair, it is a hair removal that does not include a razor and works wonderfully! Shaving should be done I would reccomend at 13 or 14.

I would say that once it looks like you have two trolls under your arms, then it's time to shave. Leg, usually if it looks like you're wearing wool socks when you're not, then it's time to shave also.
Personally, I like to shave my bu*t too... :)~ but I'm a guy...
