As a Catholic, I believe that all children can be born, and if they're not wanted, thousands of people would want them. My own niece had Down's Syndrome. She'll soon be 18.Should my sister have had her aborted because she wasn't,"perfect'. I'm sick of the mind set that says everyone should be beautiful, or your less than nothing!!

Yes but those children were born in a society where the option to abort was not available, and if more mothers in Africa were given the option to abort their babies, chances are there would be a large increase in the number of abortions as the available number of foodstuffs and clean water declines. These people, once pregnant, have no option other than to give birth and raise the child. Besides, you have no proof that these children are alive, other than the spiteful rhetoric you post, and the fact is, abortion doesn't harm you in any way and thus it shouldn't be any of your business what someone chooses to do with their life, they chose it after all, not you.

Abortion for me the greatest violation of human rights. The travesty of the whole argument reflects the disintegration of our humanity. That we would feed on the least vulnerable of our species validates for me how awful our world has become.
I hope for the day when respect for each and every human person can be part of our community. I hope that mother and father will once again discover the self giving act of total love in the creation of another human person and society will once again value this precious national resource of our human family.
Life is a gift not a disease, or annoyance. Society should take care to nurture, empower, and enhance families that risk the total self giving of raising the next human generation.

The 48 million aborted since 1973 would have the same proportion of wealth that we currently have. The labor shortage would be non existent and we would not need immigrant labor. The actuarial shortage in social security would have been erased by the additional workers paying taxes. A couple future presidents would have been born.

well, "dude"-until you can get pregnant, carry a child for nine months, go through labor and then spend the next 18 years without adequate sleep or piece of mind- SHUT THE F*** UP! Men have no right to address this very personal woman's issue. Yes!!! You have No right!! We carry the children.

If you don't believe in abortion, don't GD have one. Take that right away from the rest of us and you will start a very uncivil war. Angry women with matches all across America will turn fundi and Catholic churches into burning monuments to gender repression.

There are millions of sperm in the male that die when he ejaculates into the woman. So one sperm lasts a little longer, what right does that sperm have to live longer and not be aborted? You are talking about killing one of millions of sperm, not a human being with an identification.

It's not a child until it's born. Before that, it's just a mass of potential energy..simple biology and physics
