A 5G iPod Video is the best. I will give you a whole bunch of reasons why it is worth it (I have one by the way.) First, it can hold 7500 songs. You don't see many MP3 Players that can do that do you? Also, the video capabilities option is wonderful. I have at least 100 videos on mine, a bunch of south park episodes, the simpsons, family guy, and 10 movies on top of that, and still room for 750 songs and over 400 photos, with 5GB to spare for whatever I want. And the iPod is one of the very few Mp3 players that can be hacked. I mean the real deal, playing Doom, Half-Life, Quake, and more games on it, writing text documents on it, painting pictures on it, and a whooole lot more. Look into iPod Linux, Rockbox, and iPod Wizard (for more info on this, go to http://iPodForum.co.nr .) And I could go on an on all day about why you should get the iPod Video. One other reason: once you have it in your hand the first time, you will never put it down. It's got a great look and I take mine everywhere. To school, on the bus, to the mall, my friends' houses, I even listen to it when I'm falling asleep. I'm addicted to it. I love it. If you get one then you will definately know what I am talking about. By the way, I was just talking about the 30GB iPod. If you get the 60GB iPod, then you can double everything I said which would be even better (the 60GB iPod is $400 and the 30GB is $300.) Good luck with your decision.

Unless you are 12 years old, 1 gig is hardly any music at all.

I have a 20G iPod and would not go any other way. Not only is it an awesome mp3 player, it has more accessories then I can shake a stick at.

I can record meetings and classes, transmit through my stereo in the car or in some else's house. Start transmitting Christmas music on someone's radio and watch their reaction.

Love the Apple support too. If you are anywhere near and Apple store they have awesome service.

get an ipod, with $200 you can get a 400 song (2gb) nano. You can also get a 1gb shuffle, but i personally dont like the idea of not having a screen and not choosing what you want to listen to. so think about the ipod nano because apple products are better in quality then there competetors and they are worth every penny. With the nano you can also get games and picutures. Who wouldnt want that?

I got an Iriver mp3 player and it has a voice recorder and it has an fm radio and you can record from that also. I sat in the back of a class and recorded the class and heard everything. I really like it. I got it at Circuit City

Is the Sandisk Sansa e200 series available in Canada? It trumps both the Nano and the Samsung.

The Samsung is better. Longer battery life and it's more durable.

Do what I did and pick whichever one stores the most songs. I got a Zen Neon mp3 player. Not only did it store more songs, but it was also cheaper. Good luck:)

I would prefer mp3 than ipod, cause it's smaller than ipod so that if was so fun to take it everywhere and not to take many space.
