Mathematically it is impossible that our little blue Earth is the only planet that can support Life. They reason we really haven't found any out there yet is because we are looking for Life based on what we observed here on Earth. It is quite probable that conditions on other planets forced a life cycle that is not based on Carbon. We are constantly finding life forms on Earth that don't fit certain criteria. Just because it isn't like anything we've seen on Earth before doesn't mean that it doesn't exist

As I said to the last one who asked the same question, aside from the UFOs I have seen yes I am almost positive there are. We would be arrogant in the extreme to think we are alone. The English and Spanish thought that they were alone on that side until 1492 and guess what...but even the life out there that knows of us really shouldn't want to commune with a planet dying by its inhabitants.

There has to be if the universe goes on forever. Just the sheer probability of it makes it happen. Forever is an infinite amount of possibilities and that means there is definitely life somewhere else besides Earth.

I'm not sure if I believe it or not. I do ponder on it from time to time. I know for sure that I don't rule it out as a possibility. The Bible never says one way or another that we are the only planet with life. Who knows?

There is no evidence for it, but given the size of the universe it seems very likely that life exists elsewhere.
I hold out hope that if we look in the right places we'll find it. I hope I get to see it in my lifetime! Even a microbe would be astounding!

of course. if life could evolve here, then it could evolve anywhere in the universe. it does not even have to be an "earthlike" planet, because the life forms could be so very different than us.
and if God did create us (as i believe) it would be pretty arrogant of us to think that we are the best he could come up with.
