Funny how the world always accuses the US of being too involved in world affairs and now, the world is waiting, anxiously waiting, to see what the US is going to do about Israel and Hezbollah... most are saying "where is the US, why doesn't it get involved or send someone to straighten this out and bring peace?" Goes to show the hypocrisy of most... Not really a question but ok, what do you think?

Well I dont think this is a conflict that the US could solve by getting the military involved at this point. Even if we were to be considered the police force of the world this wouldnt be the time.

Actually we are there by supporting Israel with weapons and standing up for them internationally. But you make a good point. People say our military is spread too thin by going to Iraq, which may or may not be true, I don't know the logistics of the military, but then in the next breath say why not Sudan. Make up your mind. And stop playing politics with the military. They are there for security of the country, by either directly or indirectly confronting our enemies, not to be used as pawns in political chess.
