It is not my place to even think I could change it but I wish people would not let themselves get distracted from the important issues we are facing in this country. I get distracted too so I include myself in this.

There are so many things here at home we need to keep our eye on, our jobs and those who are loosing theirs suddenly, education of our people, those who have found themselves homeless like from Katrina etc, our rights and liberties, keeping our land clean and habitable for our children, guarding our resources from glutting, how many of children are going hungry, etc. Many of these issues are also issues that have a global extent.

I would like to see blue collar citizens in office, they know what its like to be an average citizen.
In a great country like ours, no one should be with out health care. Senior citizens should not have to decide between buying food or paying for perscriptions.
If another big company wants to move to Mexico or China for the cheap labor wages, I would say, go, but don't you come back, you can't live here or sell your product here either.
