AOL software is burdensome for me. I prefer regular DSL or cable. Right now AOL high speed is cheaper, but it might not be a bad time to upgrade.

AOL uses the same phone companies or cable companies as the rest. The problem is with AOL themselves. If you want to upgrade...switch from AOL all together. Try Earthlink DSL or what ever your telephone co. offers.

I personally would not have AOL even if it was free. If you are referring to AOL dial up..there is no such thing as highspeed. You need to move up to dsl or cable.
