Anally retentive??I just don't get itAlso when people say"your ar** was going like the clappers" and things like that. Am I weird cos whenever I've been in real frightening situations nothing happens to my ar**?

Now... I am really going back a bit to some Psych classes I had, but, if i remember correctly, the phrase "anal retentive" refers to Freud's anal stage, when a kid learns to control his/her bowels. Check out the website I provided just as back up.

Anal Retentive is supposed to be something like your *** is held shut so tight **** cant come out. So if you are described as Anal, it is meaning you are like tight.
Danny Devito, in the film renaisance man, summed up anal in a quote:
"Lou, he's 30 seconds late. Talk about anal, you must have been toilet trained at gunpoint"
