....I have a friend that's a Leo and he's cheap as hell! (cheap as in hates to spend money in order to have a decent time, very frugal)
I tend to be very generous to my good friends to make sure we enjoy ourselves & have a good time, but not him.
Disclaimer: I'm not generalizing, but I'm just starting to notice a pattern with this friend in particular. Ok, discuss. :)

I don't think leos are cheap at all. They like to save money instead of spending it on things all the time. They really are not cheap when it comes to things they want such as clothes, shoes, furniture in the house. They look at the bigger picture sometimes.
My boyfriend is a Leo to heart and he can be very expensive with
things such as as buying a house and a nice car. He will spend a lot of money for the SUV he has, and he has a huge house, and all the furniture in it is so expensive. When it comes to his clothes and shoes he buys them name brand, but he always goes to the outlets to buy them and he hardly pays any money at all for them. He takes me out to really expensive restaurants that will cost you $100.00 or over, but this is only on special occasions. They are in no way cheap, they like to pay their bills and not be in too much debt. Atleast that's the way he is. My stepfather is a leo too, and he's a great saver. He can easily have about $10,000 in his bank account for a rainy day, my boyfriend is the same way. Your friend most likely has his own reasons for not wanting to spend his money all the time. It doesn't make him a cheap person because of it. It also doesn't mean that he doesn't think all of his friends aren't worth his money either.

i'm a leo so was going to answer this question tellin you you were out of order, but then i realised what kind of cheap you meant, and i have to admit i am one of the cheapest people i know (money wise, not the other cheap =)) i hate spending money and avoid it as much as possible. Other people say it makes them feel bad seeing others spend money and not them, but i can honestly say being cheap doesn't bother me in the slightest! So yes i think Leo's are just cheap!

Leo's aren't cheap, that's virgo's and cancers!! Leo's are super generous with money and they love to spend it!! Are you sure u have the right sign?? Leo as in July 23-August 22??

I have noticed that leo women aren't necessarily cheap, but careful with their money and good savers.
Leo men on the other hand or only cheap when it comes to spending on other people, when it has to do with themselves they go all out to have the best everything.

I once dated a cheap cheap Leo. Only time in my life I always paid my on way everywhere we went and everything we did. Never again.
He would eat a sandwich at my house with a half pound of meat inside. I was at the hospital with my little girl and did not want to leave her. He brought me a sandwich with ONE this slice of meat in it.
He would eat a half gallon of ice cream at my house. At his house he would give me one small scoop. I have to stop before my nightmares come back.
I was married to what I think is the more typical Leo. He loved to spend money. Loved to spend it just to show off. Only wanted the most expensive brands of clothing. Loved to pick up the check for everyone, even people who had more money than we did.
Well, as you may have surmised, I dumped both of them. Good riddance to bad rubbish.

U r so right virgos and cancer's are sooooooooooooooo cheap!!!!!! Leo's i dont think so. I had a friend that was a leo and was not cheap at all very generous.

My other half is a Leo. It depends on who or what he's spending his money on. He tends to be generous but sweats once he realizes how much he spent!!

Any person can be cheap. It's not dependent upon your Sun sign, but upon your whole chart, particularly the 2nd house (money & posessions) and aspects to Venus, which is the planet that rules money.

I wouldn't go as far as your friend,when I am ready for fun I just go all out. But I do like to save money.
