(sighs) ok. here's what you do. Just go to your My Q & A. Click edit my info. scroll down and you will see the grey smiley face. Its right next to the smiley face where it says change my avatar or something like that. and there you go

Click on my Q and A and then click on "edit profile" under your avatar picture, and then find the change avatar link in the profile edit page.! Have fun

Go to: avatars.yahoo.com
There are tabs you can click on.. First one says, Home. The next one says appearance, click on that for the look of your face. Then customize the rest of your avatar by clicking the other tabs.
And make sure you save it when you've found something you like.
