When use to work for the Nursing Department at college I hated my job. It wasn't the hours or my boss or the people I worked with but the lack of nothing to really do. At first it was interesting then after almost a year of the same routine over and over again. I just got bored out of mind. I guess that's just the way I am. I need to be doing something that stimulates my mind and keeps me moving.

I don't actually hate my job it self, but it is the people I work with that I am having a difficult time to be around with.
They don't always want to make the coffee, all they want is to get some coffee. They always tells me to do stuff and when the job is done, some one else gets the promotion or the credit, not me. And this is happening too often and I'm about to quit, and just let them do their own stuff and figure out how to do the job they are paid for.
Sometimes they come to my desk and take my paper supply or my envelope, or any other supply for that matter.
What I hate most, I take my own trash to the trash bin, GUESS WHAT? Yep, them muther fakers <<< This way it won't be censored. They put their trash in my trash bin without asking me if I want to take their trash out or not, and I am a clean person I always take my trash out, I can't have a four days old trash in my working space or area.

I hate my job. The work itself is so tedious. It's like I have to slow my brain down to be able to handle it. And I'm a manager of an IT support organization. It's a big job, pays very well, but I would gladly trade it for a lower paying job that's more interesting. Worse still, the budget concerns of my company has over the past couple years, required us all to cut costs as much as possible. So, being the good soldier, I trimmed my staff (BTW, laying off people has been the worst experience of my life) as much as I could, but then I lost a couple of guys to other companies. But does my management allow me to hire more? F... No! So who does all the work?
He's typing this message.
I should have studied biology instead of business.

I work as a caregiver in elderly peoples homes and I hate my job. Don't get me wrong I love the clients. I hate the office staff. They will call me an hour before work to tell me not to come in (without paying me any for the shift). They will call me on my days off to get me to work. They will change my hours and have me work later without my premission. There are weeks I work only one shift and others where they expect me to do a double while I am in school. They will cancel my shifts and give them to other people. They will call me at 6pm to come into work at 9pm for a 12 hr shift. And all of this is while making little over minimum wage with absolutely no benefits. F*** my job. And that is why I am quitting it.

I hate my job because there's so much bullshit - everything that goes wrong is always handed down to my department as being our fault.
I'm also not real fond of the hours I work or some of the things I actually have to do but atleast for the most part the people in my actual department are really cool and we're kinda like one big family

Sometimes, it is the people around it. Sometimes you do not hate the job more than you hating yourself for excepting that type of a job and thinking that you can do better for yourself and get out of that situation becausee, you swear, you are going to do something to yourself that requires you to think really hard if you want to do something like that. That is when you have to start looking and start looking good. Even if you have to travel a bit of a distance to get the hell out of there so that you won't lose your f@cking little mind and cause yourself a damn stroke!
I work with kids becaus if have some toleration and some patience. We Aquarians are know for our patience. Anyway, each year, it starts to wear thin, and I start praising the good Lord that I do not have any because I would have hunged myself! I am looking for work somewhere else, away from children.
This is just me, though.
LEAVE THAT JOB OF YOURS AND START ENJOYING YOUR LIFE AGAIN!!!!!

boy can I relate to what you are saying. Every day on my way to work I am sorta chanting to myself "My co-workers are out for my best interest"... NOT. I have people that feel threatened by me because I type quickly and accurately. I'm thorough, make minimal mistakes and I'm constantly being cheerful which must be driving them nuts. I think the biggest revenge I've been able to do is continue to be me and be cheerful with the guests. I have never in my whole 30 plus years of customer service experience gotten in trouble for actually taking the time to explain the guest's account. There is something wrong in my booth when my supervisor got put on blood pressure medicine, I got put on blood pressure meds..and they doubled my anxiety meds. I actually have one sorta new supervisor who actually had the nerve to say that she couldn't understand why nobody respected the authority of her position. Well I could answer that easily. Respect is earned..and not by liars or back stabbers or control freaks. I'm gonna keep going in.. do my job.. and try to ignore the idiots at my work... I'm not gonna let them break me of the things about me that I like the best... my sense of humor, my compassion for people, my ability to put a smile on people's faces.. my cheerfulness.. and my ability to do a good thorough job with an actual work ethic where I actually work.. and not just throw stuff at the guests and continue on with my personal conversations with the other people in the booth. I have actually seen reps in my department sit with their back to the huge line... outta site..outta mind I guess.. (((((hugs))))) I hope you are getting overtime for the extra hours. If not I would put it in writing to your boss how much of an inconvenience that would be.. That you are going to lock the office on time...If they want to make appointments at a later time THEY can be responsible to lock stuff up. Period. Tell them you are Done and why. If that doesn't work I'd contact the local labor relations board and see if they have any ideas for you.

I work at a veterinary office where the people I work with just have no work ethic, they are lazy, late to work and the first ones to clock out for their hour lunch and the first ones to clock out as soon as it hit 6pm. I like the work I do, I just don't like management and the people I work with.
