My niece is 14. She's average size. She has no clue what to get for her freshman year of high school. Any high school girls want to help her out just by describing what you and other people you know wear? She is a girly girl and always well put together, she doesn't know if her style is too dressy for public school, since this is her first year attending public school and not being home schooled.

I haven't been in high school for over four years but I think I might have a few ideas. Definitely good to have a few pairs of jeans. They go with everything. The top is kind of cute. She may want to look into getting a few more print tops and regular tops. I don't know why she's wearing those shoes to school. Those are way too dressy and she's likely to break her neck in them changing classes. I don't think they're terribly appropriate. Invest in a good pair of sneakers and some closed toed Mary Jane type shoes. They go with everything. Maybe even a pair of ankle length boots.

Im entering HS too, but I really like fashion. I would not wear the shoes. She should wear flip flops or sneakers- nikes or a similar brand.
She should get some nice jeans, try hollister, Abercrombie and Fitch, American Eagle, Aeropostale.
Most girls dont wear shirts that dress. They go with collared shirts, v-necks, logo tees, henleys, etc. If you dont know what i am talking about go to these websites and shop around there. They will give you a good idea of what high school aged girls wear.

No. Definitely not too dressy. I wear stuff like that all the time.So cute, loving those pants!!! It's my first year as a freshman too. I pretty much know what it's like since I have an older sister to guide me.
