One, learn how to spell it. R-O-A-D-I-E.....then start by going to www.roadies.net. It will maybe give you some insight as to how to get in with that crowd, or how to get a job doing that.

start by checking around your area for the local stagehand crew. (i was one for over ten years and paid no less than $16.80 per hour. many times i made over $34.00 per hour.) that way you will meet all the roadies that come through town and if your cool enough, they may let you get the gig. be prepared for many hours of work, you may have to set up in the morning and tear it down at night for many days or months in a row.
