Titanium is a good metal, it is strong and is great for those with metal allergies. I have metal allergies and can't wear wire rim glasses UNLESS they are titanium because the titanium doesn't make me break out. Another good metal, but much more expensive is platinum. If he works construction you probably should stay away from yellow or white gold, it doesn't stand up well to some of the work those guys do. Congrats on your upcoming wedding.

I have had a titanium ring since May 30. I like it very much. If your fiance works on construction and cars it might be better to take off the ring when he works. It could get caught on something and he could be injured. Chinese couples get matching watches. I like the Skagen watches. They are beautiful and reasonably priced. I purchased the stainless steel two toned watches with mesh band. I have had many compliments.

Titanium is one of the best materials around for comfort and elegance as well as durability, but beware of cheap titanium since there are different grades of titanium.

Titanium is the hardest natural metal in the world. It will not react to the skin. But it will scratch over time as any other type of metal....

Very bad idea if he works with cars. We thought about getting them but found that if you are in an accident and have to get medical attention they are not able to cut the rings--the equipment doesn't exist. Thus, your hubby could have to loose a finger if he were in an accident b/c the ring couldn't be cut to help him! Try Gold or Platinum! :) Good luck!

Titanium jewelery is very popular now a days because it is very durable and the only real downside is stay away from oversized magnets.

EXSPENSIVE!!! More flexible than other metals. Don't know that that necessarily makes them stronger. Why not platinum?

And I work in the homebuilding industry and most of the consruction guys do not wear their rings on the job. Imagine if they got their hand caught in something and the ring got crushed to their finger?!

My husband is titanium and he loves it. No, it didn't turn his finger. He hasn't scratched his and he works out everyday.

It's very expensive but it deos look nice. If you like the metal look you can also get silver or white gold wich are also cheaper and looks even better.
