Why do people say Hines Ward? Sure he's a good player and an asset to any team, but just becuase you're a Pittsburg fan doesn't mean he's the best WR in the league...

I would really say it's Steve Smith either (Yet)...and I'm a Carolina fan. However, if he can do what he did last year for the rest of his career...well then he will be the best, but one season isn't enough.

Chad Johnson is getting there...he's far better than Hines Ward at least and depending on Smith's future..he may not be as good...but who knows yet.

Randy Moss looks like he's declining in skills...but looks might be deceiving...we'll see if he can make a comeback.

Terrell Owens likes to run his mouth...but he beats all three of those guys right now...but his character makes him a bad asset to the team.
--------------------------------
Marvin Harrison is probably the best WR right now. Sure...a big part of his success is Manning...but look at the other WRs and tell me their success isn't because of their QB. To do what he does every year is something all of those other WRs can learn from...And lets hope they do, because what is football without amazing catches? Although trashlalking is needed somewhere, one thing Harrison doesn't do better than the rest...ONE thing...heh...

when people say best reciever in the NFL they say Owens, Moss, Holt or Ward. but the question is who is the best Reciever. which means your a winner! that takes Moss and Owens out. so then you say ward because he won a superbowl last year right? or Holt? i say your still wrong! I like the guy who has been the #1 Guy on his team for over 10 years. he had only had 2 losing seasons 2000, and 2001. he has been in the top 10 in recieving the past 8 seasons. he also has 2 Rings. sounds prety impresresive right. i failed to metioned that he was undrafted. his name is Rod Smith he 35 years old and is still the #1 Guy.

well there are several answers to this:

Randy Moss has the best potential of any receiever in the history of the game. His size and speed will never ever be matched. The problems are his qbs and organizations. But he can be the best.

The most consistent and best stat giver would be marvin harrison. he consistently provides for his team and puts up good stats. But he isn't the best receiver becasue hes getting old and his athleticismm isnt supreme.

THe reciever that is the best playmaker and creater is steve smith. The reggie bush of the nfl, he is versatile and has supereme athletisism. I would consider him the best.

Terell Owens if you are talking about absolutely the best skill in the NFL. No one can match his ability. But TO isn't worth the hassle that comes with him. I think Chad Johnson and of course Randy Moss are both close.

Terrell Owens and Steve Smith are my top two WR's right now. I think Roy Williams and Larry FItzgerald are going to be two of the best in the future.
