Everywhere being anywhere on the globe, from America and back again. If there are terrorists in your country you should oust them or be eliminated.
9/11 was only a few years ago. Why would we let people who would want to do that again live in a country and grow like bacteria?
I rather charge and meet them head on and run the risk of creating more terrorists through dissent than sitting and waiting for the next attack.
We are in a war.

You know, I do entirely respect your comment on how we should win the hearts and minds of the countries where terrorism lies - I would definately encourage this if it were possible. But it's not, that's the sad truth.

Despite political alignment, I believe we should all agree we are in a war. This is a global war, if not on the scale of WW2. We need to unite and hunt them down in every country.

This is world war three and the leftist liberals and the socialist need to accept this. Islamic facism is the new enemy of this world and should be dealt as such. Germany, France, and all other European nations have a decreasing population and a rapdily arrising Islamic population. Nevermind the fact that they are pouring on European soil. I will give you some links to read.

Let's say there are terrorists in America. How on earth can you eliminate them. Kill all the Muslims in Detroit where many may be sympathetic to the plight of Arabs in the Middle East. As I see it the answer lies in your question. You want to charge in and meet the enemy so you can kill them and not worry about it. Your solution would be to take on N. Korea, Sudan, Iran and Syria. The problem is that we don't have the military might to take on all you suggest and the only way to bulk up would be through the draft. Now I personally don't think that's going to happen. You do the math. Let's say that for every terrorist we kill another takes his place. When will we eliminate the threat? Israel has gone down that road for almost a century and nothing has changed. Me. I would prefer we don't freak out over every incident with 24 hour coverage on CNN and the like. For all the money we've laid out on this war we could have bought Saddam off and made Iraq a resort. People with jobs, food and a sweet place to live don't run around blowing themselves.

I'm with ya man!!!
So, lets start with the terrorist in Compton, Houston, and Brooklyn: let's oust the Mob, the crips, the bloods, those terrorists who actually threaten America on a daily basis.
That's the real issue.
You speak of hunting terrorism everywhere, but the places we keep attacking don't really seem to have any terrorists there, at least not until we attack them.
Even the generals in Iraq say now their mission will never be completed cause they just keep creating more and more terrorists with every offensive.

That's because they people who refuse or can't see we are in a war think that America is at fault for the world's ills.
Even though Islamic terrorists want to destory ALL countries that don't embrace their ideology, many people still blame the West.
The way the West is self-hating is an amazing phenomenon.
Political correctness means hating your own country and culture. The West is the first civilization to hate itself.

And how exactly do you plan to "charge and meet them head on"? You make it all sound so simple...Like we are just going to sound the trumphet and meet them on the battle field. They are too cowardly to ever let us do that. If it were that easy we would have won a long time ago.
Combating them is more like combating roaches. If you turn on the lights and come charging they will scatter. But, unlike roaches, you can't just set up a bug bomb and kill everything that's living in order to eradicate them. Because that means killing innocent women and children.
It's not a "charge and meet them head on" type of battle. That's the kind of thinking that will lead us to defeat. It's a "win the heart and minds of the people" type of battle. That's the ONLY way to win.

Very good question. Hezbollah is allowed to raise money here in the US. I am completely baffled by this. Hypocrisy to the extreme must be our most endearing quality to the rest of the world. Hezbollah is a terrorist organization hurling rockets at innocent Jewish and Arab Israelis and yet they are able to operate openly in this country.
Terrorism existed for the rest of the world long before 9/11 and it didn't seem to bother us like it should have. Finally, it's our turn and we look up from our stupor and act like terrorism is something completely new.....
We need to be fighting a completely different kind of war against Terrorism. It cannot be a war of armored divisions and occupation forces. It must be one of aggressive covert military action, by men/women who are trained almost to a Ninja level to inflict death on those who we know, suspect of terrorist activity.
These units must be deployed not as American, but as Nato, Coalition, Interpol, whatever you want to call them, but they have to be free from national identity. Terrorists should find themselves hunted by people whom they cannot identify and strike back at by bombing this nation or that.
Where's Sean Connery's character from the Untouchables when we need him. Terrorists need to experience "The Chicago Way".

I read something yesterday that basically concluded: Those opposing winning the war(s) haven't come to terms with what losing the war(s) will really mean. In other words, it's not just that we get humiliated & slump our heads in defeat -- as they think it will go if we abandon Iraq; it means a sever life alteration for every damned one of us: lower standards of living, less trade w/fearful countries, ongoing threats against us...
...ten years on...how did we get into this mess where granades are rolling down shopping malls every couple of months?

Liberals have no power in the country so how the fu@k is it their fault? If Bush wasn't such a pu$$y maybe he would eradicate them all right now. What is the party that's not in power in any branch of the government going to do about it?

Primarily because terrorism isn't the concern of most people. In their selfish little worlds, they're concerned with either bashing the opposing political party or praising their own political party.
Nothing is about reality anymore. It's all politics, usually with histrionics.
