My son screams and throws his pacifier and blanket out of his crib and screams until I go in there and give it back to him, tonight is the first night I walked in there to put my 4 month old to bed and didn't get his pacifier and blanket for him and walked righ tout of the room. He is still screaming an hour later, but he is safe and in his bed. I don't know if I did the right thing by ignoring him when I went in there of if I should give in so that he will just go to sleep, because the minute I give him his stuff back he will go right to sleep, but I want him to stop throwing it out of his crib. He does it when he gets mad.

I have a fourteen month old.. When I try to let her cry it out she cries ten minutes TOPS because crying too hard for too long can actually make them sick. Remember they're just little still and they aren't good at expressing themselves, yet.. It's still a guessing game as to what they want or need.

Show the kid who is boss... you did the right thing... you keep giving in to him he well do it to you the rest of his life...
and if he keeps doing this in front of the other kid they well try the same thing to you....
talk to him before you lay him down for bed... tell him you are not going to play his little games anymore... if he throws his pacifier or blanket out you well not grab it for him... I no he only 1 but if you get down to his level and talk to him nicely it might work.........

Hay just wait till he turns 2 you well have more fun.... he well lurn the word NO
