October is beautiful!!! Very mild and sunny.
You don't have to worry about hurricanes in Orlando like you do for the beaches. In Orlando, there is plenty to do inside around town or at the theme parks. Orlando has been catering to visitors for many years here and have learned to build plenty of indoor space to avoid heat, sun, and rain for attractions, rides, food, events, whatever you want to do!
Now, of course we got hit 2 years ago by hurricanes but it was many years before that, that we actually had severe damage like those of 2004. It could happen at anytime again, anywhere in this geographical region! But I could win the lottery too!
My family swims here all year-round, we even made a point of it by going to the beach on January 1st this year. So, believe me, October is one of the best month here in Florida!
~ENJOY!

Hurricane season does not end until Nov. 1, So you never know. Anything is possible. Weather in general, October is a nice month. Not blistering hot like today! Nice time of year. Just watch the depressions in the atlantic and gulf around the time your headed this way.

October is a great month to visit! The weather becomes a bit more tolerable (still warm but not miserable) and the crowds start to dissapear because kids are back in school.

Pure hurricane season. And the wave of severity is increasing through a multi year cycle. Try again!

It is very warm and humid like the summer, but you still get a cool breeze, you are only an hour a way from the beaches so it is a perfect location!
