Can't really say any underrated ones from the last decade. I guess Def Leppard is pretty underrated at times. They've done a lot of great stuff in the last decade, and haven't really been recognized for much of it until recently.

As for overrated, Bon Jovi. They're nothing special. In the 80s, they were just another hair band. Now they've gone country to keep themselves at the top of the charts. They've sold out. Nirvana is also overrated. I don't get what the big deal is about Nirvana. I don't hear anything too special in their music either.

Overrated: Rod Stewart, Frank Sinatra, Tina Turner. They can't sing. Also Take That, Westlife, Spice Girls. (Although Gary Barlow could sing.)

Underrated: I listen to a lot of non chart stuff. Runrig, thought popular in Scotland are underrated this side of the border. I am a big fan of the session and solo singer Miriam Stockley who has a breathraking voice. Also Neil Hannon aka The Divine Comedy who is a lyrical genius.
