Well, no, I dont think so. Not yet, anyway. Remember, FIFA is trying to represent each region, but they are also trying to get the best teams in the tournament. In this past cup, of the 16 teams that advanced past the group stage, there was Australia, the only team of one from Oceania (from here on they will be from Asia not Oceania), Mexico, the only team of four from CONCACAF, Ghana, the only team from five of Africa, Brazil, Argentina, and Ecuador, three of the four teams from South America, and Germany, Sweden, Italy, Switzerland, Ukraine, England, Portugal, Holland, Spain, and France, ten of the fourteen teams from Europe. So in the round of 16, Asia was the only region without representation. 100% of Oceania qualified, 25% of CONCACAF, 20% of Africa, 75% of South America, and 71% of Europe. So in fact, Africa was the second worst region in the tournament. Why should they be given more teams?

I noticed myself how there are 7 million European nations in the World Cup and only a few African or Asian ones.

I think that they have enough African nations in the world cup 5 out of 32 isn't too bad. I would also like to point out are you my long lost son or did you just steal my identity?

There were, it's just that they got eliminated early. Also, there are people from those African nations playing in the world cup anyways.... as Swedes, Germans, Englishmen, Scots, Danes, Spaniards and Frenchmen.
So it all evens out in the end.

I don't think so! In fact Africa has too many, for a very poor history in World Cups.
Africa has actually more teams playning than Soth America does. Yet South America has won half of all World Cups thus far.

the better teams make it in. its not like people decided that there should be more european teams, its based on who beats who and many of the african nations just arent as good.
