No one knows, it was never revealed. (don't believe anyone who says they know or says they can read lips).
FIFA suspended Zidane for 3 games and suspended Materazzi for 2 games. FIFA said it was not racially motivated.
Zidane really should learn to control himself. Players say nasty things to each other all the time. Violence is most unbecoming.

Confidentiality requirements will ensure that the dialogue of the meeting remains in the room. I am positive they would both have been warned about future comments outside of what has been agreed upon. So do not expect to ever know, well not for many years. It has been dealt with and both have been proven wrong or FIFA could not have made the decision they did, and more importantly, the players would not have excepted the verdict so easily. The fact that they did, shows they BOTH know how lucky they were to not face further actions.

It doesnt matter anymore, both of them have been punished.
People seem to agree that Materazzi deserved it, if hes been fined and suspended and everything. It must have been something REALLY nasty.
