If she cannot be contacted after a certain amount of time, then you can be granted the divorce on grounds of abandonment. The amount of time depends on which jurisdiction you live in. If she is somehow, magically served with papers, she has a time limit to sign and if she misses the court date you can, in most cases, be granted the divorce by default.
It's almost better for you if she doesn't come back.
Go get a consultation from a lawyer. It'll only cost you the amount of the visit, if anything.

I'm not sure. You need to see an attorney or at least call for a consultation or do some research on the web for the divorce laws for the state you live in. I think you have to at least attempt to serve the divorce or separation papers on her. A don't think you need her present to get the divorce finalized.

Yes. I filed for divorce without my husband having to be there. They can draw up papers and put a notice in the local newspaper of their last known whereabouts. It's actually quite easy.

Yes, you can get a divorce, if you know where she is, you just have to figure out how to have her served, with her going out of country, there are other issues to deal with, but all you have to do is prove she was served, it is not on you to force her to come back, they can grant a divorce in her absence, you just have to go through different steps.

Yep. You can file for divorce on the grounds of desertion and abandonment. The court date will be ran in the paper and when she is a no show, they will grant your divorce.

Yes you can. You don't need a signature to divorce...it's called a default judgment.
