I like the fantasy type ones.
1) Sailor Moon
2) Cardcaptors
3) Saint Tail
4) One Piece
5) Yu-Gi-Oh
6) Inyuasha
7) Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball Z
8) Mew Mew Power
9) Spider Riders
10) D N Angel
And you know, others along that line. They all must have a plot that keep me interested from one episode to the next one. I like ones where characters have magical powers and a lot of good Techno type music is played. The anime must have a lot of action and not hours of pointless, mindless talking that leads the story no where. I like almost any anime that has a good story line, lots of action, and plenty of action.

I'm also a fan of all kinds although I barely watch any anime now. I'm not a fan of overly shoujo anime (Fushigi Yuugi became very annoying after awhile) and thillers that are a bit too confusing and demand that I think, rewind, and watch the anime from the "last" episode to the "first" in order to understand it (Boogiepop Phantom >>;). I love comedies that most and action is second.

I'm a sucker for a Romantic Comedy. I like some action tied in. (Inuyasha :P) I like Love Hina, and things like that, but I also love Shonen Anime like Trigun (Donuts!)
And Giovanni, If you hate anime, why answer Anime questions? And on another note, Where do you live if Anime takes half the shelves? What I would give to have a store like that where I live, I have to mail-order anime.

I like all the different anime genre, but if i had to pick my favorite genres they would be romance, slice of life, and comedy. My favorite anime is either The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, or Love Hina.

drama,romance for sure, a little action and comedy all together, and if not that then action adventure comedy. For the first set furuba and DNAngel, and for the second rave master and inuyasha, and then maybe some action comedy with sgt. frog.
