I have not been taking my birth control pills for five days. My boyfriend and I have had sex five times without using protection. He does not ejaculate inside of me but I want to know is it a higher risk of me becoming pregnant if I do not take birth control pills for awhile. FYI. I am now back on my birth control pills

Missing 3 or more pills puts you at a very high risk depending on how fertile you are. Some women it takes a couple of months for fertility to return after completley stopping the use of the pill. For future reference if you miss one pill there is no problem . Two pills in a row during your first two weeks take 2 pills on the day you remember and 2 the next and one a day after that and use back up birth control for one week. If you miss 3 or more pills at any time keep taking 1 pill a day until Sunday and on Sunday set aside the rest of the pills and start a new pack and be sure to use backup birth control for two weeks. Missing any of the last 7 pills in a 28 pill pack there is no risk at all. Maybe you should look into getting the patch so you wont have a problem remembering to take a pill every day. Good luck

Any time you're not using your birth control pills as prescribed, you run the risk of pregnancy.
Remember, you don't need to have him ejaculate inside you just to become pregnant. Sperm have been known to impregnate a mature egg from deposits left near or around the vaginal area.
If you're not going to use or can't remember to take your bc pills as prescribed, you might want to look into other options for birth control.

Consult Planned Parenthood or your doctor about your issue.

Birth control pills are the same hormone that is used to help women get pregnant. If you stop taking the pills, your chance of getting pregnant is actually enhanced.
Unless you or your friend have a fertility problem, you may well be pregnant already.

Yes, anytime you have sex, you can become pregnant even if you are on the pills. If you want 100% effective birth control, stop having sex until you are married. Hope this helps.

If getting pregnant would be a bad thing, then you need to consider yourself fertile for the rest of the cycle if you missed pills.

Use backup stork repellent--like condoms or diaphram.

If your partner penetrates you, then he can release sperm without ejaculating---pre-c*u*m is loaded with sperm

Birth control pill failures are due to neglecting to take them every day

Any break from birth control pills increases the probability of pregnancy. Even when taken appropriately, oral contraceptives do have a slight failure rate (from 1-5%, depending on the research cited).

you may already be pregnant and not know it..and then have continued to take birth control pills,i'm sure there is a possibility of complications ..you may want to abstain from sexual activity until you are mature enough to understand how your body works and how pregnancy occurs.
