Go to a nail salon & have them soaked off. They'll put your fingers in acetone, which softens the fake nails. The person you sit down with should then use a nail buffer to remove the softened nail & smooth out your own nails underneath. You can also ask for a manicure to help with the acetone dry out that will occur. I always have my fake ones soaked off. It hurts to remove them myself. Plus the manicure afterwards feels great.

When you have them removed at the nail salon, they normally soak them in acetone. You can buy a little kit for removing them in the nail care section or from a beauty supply store. Don't try to pick them off- you'll ruin your real nails underneath.
