Ok, I'm really digging deep here, but here's a try:

She's a woman/girl, and I am a guy, so my first instinct would be to do a quick scan to see if there is anything about her that I could find attractive, like if her face or any part of her body still looked OK, or if her general overall shape was feminine, or if her figure is just too distorted to trigger any happy thoughts.

If her figure and face are just too distorted, then I wonder if her boyfriend/husband thinks she's attractive. And what it would be like to date/marry someone you could not find anything attractive about.

Then I'd proably look for anything unusual, like excessively pudgy hands or really chubby cheeks or weird looking toes, or calluses in weird places, or if she breathes heavy or limps or leans forward when she walks, etc... Because I'm naturally curious about the human body and how much it can change, and there are some weird looking things you just don't see every day.

Then as quickly as they came those thoughts would just slip away and I'd say hi, be nice, and behave normally.

All of the above would probably take between 1 and 3 seconds.

Same thing that goes through my mind when I see a fat man... why be sexist here? The older you get, the more you see how important it is to look through to the inside of a person, what they are really about. the first thing notice on anybody is their smile... the men I have dated have been both hefty and thin, it is the ones who can make me laugh that keeps me there...

When I see a fat girl - I think, "I sure hope someone loves the crap out of you."

I know some larger people are not nice - some are bitter.

But most are the most loving people. When my daughter was 3, she got to hang out with her 6 year old (and chucky) cousin. I can tell that other kids are already teasing my niece pretty bad - she's already self-conscious. My daughter just cut loose and played and talked with her for days. That little girl was so kind and patient so not bitter and so glad that my daughter just loved her. I felt so bad when we had to leave since we live so far apart. I pray that my niece makes it through childhood with herself intact and that she finds someone worthy to love her - because all that little fat girl had inside her was love and generosity.

Someone I can relate to. Honestly this world needs more "real" people to relate to----not those skinny anorexic people to idol.

I am what people call "fat" and despite what others think I love the way I am. My doctors say I'm healthy and thats all i care about.

As an non-skinny person people who don;t get to know me because i look the way i do---i'd rather not hang out with anyways because they are shallow.

I am happy, and I found someone to love me the way I am---and as non skinny people we have an advantage---we tend to find somone who truly cares for us---not the way we look. What I mean by this is---I know my fiance is not with me because I will be a good trophy wife for him---there are guys like this out there---( not all so please don't take offence)

So if you are not skinny its ok, just love yourself and I will tell you that you will go far----once you love yourself nothing else matters.

Why are you even asking this question?

I don't judge, I think: Oh look. There's a girl.

Maybe y'all should try to do the same thing.

There is someone who is not neurotically defined by our materialistic, narcistic, ego-centric society. She may be victim to the fast food (may as well be drugs) marketing, but hey skin and bones- what are you victim to?
