I thought it was great up until it started raining frogs. That flew right over my head. Is it symbolic or something? What did it mean in terms to the film? That really threw me off track. I'd love to hear you're interpretations or meanings.

It's from a Bible passage (Exodus 8:2 reads: "And if thou refuse to let them go, behold, I will smite all thy borders with frogs"), and when you know that it makes sense.

I love Magnolia and the interpretations I got from that part is the plagues in The Old Testament in the Bible,it also rained frogs.They had each commited their own form of sin,whiz kid donny robbing the store,lily trying to kill herself,claudias coke habit,jimmy gator messing with his daughter and so on,that is what I get from it,like they were being judged!
