Safety Deposit Box Key?

My mom has a husband that is really sick, he doesnt remember stuff like he used to..His brain is the best working this around. Because he is very old and sick. She found some keys that looked like saefty Deposit Box keys. But she isnt sure. How does one look like?

Isn't your mom's husband your father? Just ask your mom to go through the old tax return. Safe deposit box charges a fee and people itemize it on the income tax return. That is a way to find the name of the bank for your deposit box key.

Different style boxes will have different keys. The key should be stamped with the box number and "Do Not Duplicate"
