whats the difference between d2s and d2r?

D2S: Discharge second generation shielded
D2R: Discharge second generation reflection

One HID bulb (D2S) is for cars without the projectors.
The other (D2R) is for cars with projectors.

One has an "s" and the other has an "r". I have no idea what you are asking. Where did you see these terms? In what context?
