Why can't liberals get all of the facts on an issue and weigh their questions and answers carefully and logically, instead of hearing what they want to hear and responding visceraly?

Try hearing both sides of the topic and then make up your mind. I'm sure you would consider me a liberal if you knew me but the fact is I have some issues which I am very conservative. Being on one side or the other doesn't make anyone right or wrong. Being closed minded on either side of an issue benefits no one least of all our country which we share together. Anyone who walks a straight line with blinders on is part of the problem and "yes" it works both ways.

As a conservative republican I have no idea what your talking about. Every Liberal I have met has been able to discuss intelligently the issues of the day. They don't foam at the mouth or get upset when I present my views. I see them as intelligent Americans concerned (like myself) by the awful direction our countries policies are bringing us. Maybe you should stop watching Fox news and actually learn something.

If by Liberals you mean, human beings, then i think the answer is as easy as weighing all the facts without being excessively biased.

What I think is funny is how yesterday a million questions about how Bush vetoed the stem cell bill like it was new news or something. I knew that was coming from months ago, and it had already been discussed in most media outlets.

I love how right-wingers always say they weigh all sides of an issue, but somehow always come up with the blunt force simplistic right-wing answer.

nicely, judging from how Liberals talk approximately Conservatives here on YA, it sort of feels they have been nicely experienced too. they don't even worry with actual information, they only the two distort matters or make own assaults on Conservatives.
