I didn't understand the whole movie. I got the part where he wanted to go to the sex party and bought the mask, but that's about all. Weird movie. I guess he had a nervous breakdown because his wife found it or he thought maybe she had been to one of the parties. Who knows.

Hon, I can't explain the mask, the party or the nervous breakdown. I can't explain the beginning, the middle, or the end. I can't explain why Kiddman thinks she looks good without her clothes on. The best part of the whole flick was the naked, auburn haired hooker at the party, but I can't explain her significance to the story. Frankly, it was a very disappointing movie experience that I've tried hard to put out of my mind, and now you come along and bring it up all over again. Do you think that's fair, huh? Well, do ya?

I think the cult people put it there as a warning. I do not think the wife knew about it because when he told her she was in tears the next morning, remember? the auburn girl was the girl at the party with the mask who helped him, and then she wound up dead. It wasn't that hard to follow... I just wish we could have found out what exactly was going on at the sex party. Why was it such a big deal that no one knows about it and why so secret?

His wife has been eaten by a gigantic shark, which goes away in a spaceship at the very end of the film. The mask is the disguise the shark was wearing when it came into the house pretending to fix the plumbing

I walked out on that movie - it was just toooooooo dark and crazy for me........i almost had a nervous breakdown watching it!
