They're beatiful bikes, sound great, handle great, and have awesome torque. It's the bike that won the World Superbike Champion for Ducati 6 times from 1994-2001. However, it's primarily a race bike and has a very aggressive seating position. If you plan on riding it on the street, make sure you don't have a bad back or sensitive butt, because you're guaranteed to not like the positioning. It's hard to take long trips with the bike without getting fatigued. The bike also has higher than average maintanence costs, so if you aren't comfortable wrenching on your own, be prepared to shell out $$$ every 6000 miles or so.

Yes, but you should really look at the Ducati S4R. About the same price, but better performance. It's a souped up monster. Oh, if only I had the cash!
