I think if someone were to take away the weapons from the islamic "terrorists" Someone else would just sell them back, no?

This is really simple to understand even you lib's out there should be able to understand this.
Scenario 1) Remove all weapons for all militant Islamic terrorists surrounding Israel.
Result 1) Peace in the Middle East
Scenario 2) Remove all weapons from Israel
Result 2) A new holocaust.
If you can't understand this, you are hopelessly and probably permanently an idiot, but take heart you will still have the rest of your buddies (the Democratic party) around for at least another decade or so, until they collapse.

How about Lebanon? Everyone forgets that the Lebanese government does not want Hezbollah there to begin with, but they do not have the weapons or manpower to force the group out. Lebanon is a Christian country, so why would they want to harbor Islamic extremists? Israel has no right to begin tearing apart Lebanon without the support and cooperation of the Lebanese government, and that is why Secretary General Kofi Annan (pronounced on-on) has proposed that the UN send in a force (not peace keepers, but actual fighters) to stop the violence and the civilian deaths on both sides. Too bad butt-faced John Bolton's going to make sure the reso never passes. Damn him and damn the fact that America is stupid and has to get involved in everything.

Well, both sides are fighting for the wrong causes. Israel thinks that because the United States is it's buddy through thick and thin that they can do whatever they want to whoever they want. Hezbollah thinks that they are above the law (or that they are following a higher law) and that they can do whatever they want. Basically, they're both wrong. The United States is supporting Israel right now...which is retarded because Israel pretty much forced Palestine to give up a bunch of it's land. Both sides are wrong but if Israel were to leave Palestine alone, maybe bombs wouldn't be flying.

Israel is using excessive force and collective punishment on a country. This is not going to end the terrorist groups. In fact it will only make it grow..Thus defeating the very purpose they claim. The state of Israel should have never been created by the UN. Send in UN peacekeeping forces. Cease Fire. Trade off prisoners and then UN must enforce peace

with the israeli tactics right now hezbollah due to the support they are getting from the lebanon people and the iran military. israel is only attacking by air that will not due it all hezbollah needs to do is dodge missiles
