I had Window Media Player as the choosen program to open up an email with.....?

Now since someone sent me something else and stupidly downloaded real player, it keeps opening everything in that. There are so many things that will not work with that. How do I go into my computer and make Window Media Player the default?

let 's say you want .mp3 files to open with W. Media player:
Right clk the .mp3 file. Choose "Open With"
Scroll to W. Media player and clk it.
Check the box that says "Always open with this program" (or something like that.
DONE !
Do the same with each type of file you want to open with W. Media Player such as: .avi .wmv .mpg etc.

That was easy !!!!

I hate it when that happens!!! happens all too much and then it screws up all your settings. What I do is open windows media player and then go to Tools > Options > File Types (tab on top) and click "select all" than hit OK. close out and try to open again. If you run your mp3s in like iTunes or something you might want to uncheck that file type on the tab so its not opening in Media player...
