Totally. He rocked in the beginning of this volume with Busiek writing, which is weird being that Busiek totally sucked when writing Iron Man in the Avengers. I think he is one of the most realistic characters and his personality and sense of right and wrong is very defined, where as some characters drift time to time.

PS. Read Joe Quesada's (The current E-I-C of Marvel) run on him in the trade paper back "The Iron Man in the Mask." In it, Tony's armor becomes sentient and basically becomes Frankenstien. It defines Tony as a person outside the armor and highlights how powerful he really is.

Yeah, right here!

Kurt Busiek's Iron Man rocked. The rebooted Iron Man series that Warren Ellis started writing (the artist took so dang long to draw the first six issues it took over a year to get them out) is going nowhere FAST.

The best Iron Man artist ever was Gene Colan. That man can draw!

Yeah dude, Iron Man rocks. I heard that he's the next superhero Marvel tryna make into a film. He's like Marvel's Batman, though definitely not as popular as Batman, but I like that. I tend to like the comics that aren't so 'mainstream'. War Machine rocks too.

Iron Man has always been a "closet favorite" of mine.... He is not one of the "big" superheroes, but I've always liked him. I like that he is dependent upon the armor for survival, and that it is continuously changing....

Incidentally, plans are in the works for an Iron Man movie, following in the wake of success of other Marvel movies.... New Line Cinema did have the rights to it, but kept putting it off, and the rights expired. Marvel will now do it "in house", and John Favreau is set to direct.

It blows me away that they don't know who The Invincible Iron Man is! Tony Stark revealed his identity to the world some time ago, and is currently assisting Congress to investigate other heros. (Marvel's 'Civil War' series.) I don't read that title all the time, but I do like to keep up with what's going on.

BTW, Tony kicked his drinking habit (a very smart thing to do, when you're in control of a dangerous and potentially deadly piece of machinery, like a car) but he is still very suave and debonair and a hit with the ladies, as you put it so well.

I know who Iron man was. He's pretty neat and I liked it in the Avenger's movie where they found out his secret identity, that was so hilarious. I think one of the first times I saw Iron Man was on a episode of The Incredible Hulk animated series.

Iron Man was awesome. Although I think what happened was he was just not as popular as other Marvel heroes and you just heard less and less of him over the years. I would love to see an Iron Man movie though.

I've always liked Iron Man and War Machine. Both were basically the same comic and a distance, but once you started to read them they were as different as night and day
