My husband hasn't paid more attention to me since I told him he had to leave and that I started seeing someone else. He has never been so kind and caring. I know it's a ploy to keep me trapped! I know it! I know it! I know it!

First, its not the spouse leaving thats hard. Its our human nature scared of a change with an unknown future thats hard especially under your conditions. No one wants to lose a love one to someone else and then be told to move on. You hit him with a double whammy and right between the eyes. Hes scared and doing the only thing he believes he can to try and save the marriage, did you really expect otherwise from him? You have created an action with an equal reaction, so now you have to decide from your heart and none of us can make that decision for you as to which guy situation is right for you. Good luck

I'm having the same problem right now. I told my husband I was having an affair and that same night he marked his territory, something he hasn't wanted to do in a long time. He's discovered twice more that I'm still seeing this guy and he still begs me to stop and not leave, so I'm feeling guilty and staying. I've started therapy to figure out why I can't leave but don't want to stay.

Of course it is a ploy. I think it's so hard to leave because you are leaving your comfort zone and entering a world that you haven't been in in a while.

What was it about your husband that made you want to go to another man? Can your marital relationship be rekindled? Sounds like your husband loves you and he's trying. If, you don't love him anymore, you need to leave. That way you'll be free to see the person your involved with. Absense makes the heart fonder.

You need to go spirtual. Remember your husband knows you more than your friend. I've heard people say, "I left my wife because I thought she was a sister instead of a partner." Maybe you need to get back to romancing your husband again.

The ultinate question is are you in love with him. If not then seriously get out your self out of the house, sell up, do what you have to do. Dont string people along if your not in love

maybe he has come to realize that you will not be waiting for him, and that you will leave him. That has made him realize his feeling for you.
