Mac Eyeshadow?

is mac makeup really as good as everyone says it is...I'm looking for eyeshadow that doesn't fade in 2 hours...I use Ulta right now, I'm just looking for something that lasts longer

I do use a product called "first base" to help keep it on longer. and still it fades too quick

i swear by mac makeup. it is kind of expensive, but i bought my first mac eyeshadow over a year ago and there is plenty left. i would also recommend getting the eyeshadow base they provide. it is fairly inexpensive, and it also lasts forever. the makeup will stay on a long time and it feels light and fresh on. they do makeovers, so call the local mac counter and see what you think!!!

Mac actually blends very well, and has a finer texture which makes for easier application... And yes, it would hold much longer than the L'Oreals and Max Factors of this world.

But here's a makeup tip: you might want to apply a bit of eye moisturizer prior to eye makeup. It would help the eye color settle and hold longer... regardless of the eyeshadow brand you use.

Yes, MAC eyeshadow is that good! I apply it with a brush and it goes on very smoothly and lasts all day long. It is also highly pigmented, so you use less, and one compact of MAC's eyeshadow lasts a lot longer than a cheap brand.
