Get a powerful government position. Get caught stealing or some other type of deviant behavior that the politicians must publicly denounce even thought they may have been your partner. Lose job.

Kazoom, you are now qualified to be an influence peddler, oops I mean lobbyist.

Find a company or group willing to pay you to wine, dine and bribe politicians.

First, get involved in some party in your area. That's a good beginning and can be done at any age. Party connections make it much easier to get into lobbying positions. You will want to look into either a Poli Sci or a Communications kind of college major. After that look into Washington based think tanks. Experience in communications is always helpful. Lobbyists are generally self-taught. Involve yourself in events like debate that help develop your ability to argue and persuade people, like lobbyists do. Check into public relations jobs at other companies first and work your way into one of the think tanks and then move up into the bigger domestic private interest groups

Just show lots of money,the politicians will come to you,all of them are for sale or rent,especially the ones with more years in Washington,they also are the more expensive,but also the ones that deliver
