no. immortality is more of a curse than a cure. life is meant to end. any longer than that would be torture. think of all the pain you would have to go through and how long you have to worry about keeping things going. you will have to keep working for a good life because even thought you know for a fact that you will not die, you will still live with the knowledge of a dreadful forever.
always go with what you have instead of risking it for what you think may be better. that way you dont get disappointed. if in fact you do miss something that couldve been so much better you would have not experienced it to have felt any true loss. =)

Definitely no. And Bassey, I realize that everyone is entitled to an opinion, but yours is off base. I can prove through science that this world was created by a creator (God), and not by some cosmic accident. If you look to the the laws of thermo dynamics it is quite easy to see. For something to give off energy it must consume something. In my case we are going to look at the sun. The sun gives off boat loads of energy in the form of light and heat, as do other stars, and in turn it must basically consume itself (the sun is just a huge ball of burning gas). And since the technology has been around to do so, scientists studying the sun have taken measurements of its diameter, and have found that the sun consumes itself at a very consistent rate year by year. And if you were to take that amount of consumed energy and reverse it by just a few million years, the mass of the sun would be engulfing not just Earth, but also Mars and Jupiter! And for the THEORY of evolution to be accurate, it requires billions of years. Even Darwin before he died, retracted all his statements about evolution and accepted the fact that there is a creator, and that creator was and is God.

Yes. I really want to know how the world started and I dont think we are even close yet. I think the problem stems from people accepting God as the beginning - peeps like that dont want to think which stops the development of what really did happen at the beginning.

yes i would and after I drank it i would walk infront of moving traffic, dive out windows of skyscrapers, go find Bin Laden and kick him in the balls and laugh as his terrorist goons tried to kill me, then I would stand in bonfires, lay on top of a grenade, walk into airplane props and jet engines. Then I would confess to a false crime and get sentenced to a life senctence and see how long they would keep me in jail before they realized that I was not going to die. Finally, when they release me, I would pull of the Thelma & Louise stunt like at the end of the movie. Then I would conquer the world.

Interesting question!
My answer is NO!
At first thought it sounds great, but... Imagine having to watch all the folks you love grow old and die while you stay the same. In the loooooonnnng run it sounds like a real bummer to me!

Of course not. Dying means leaving all your problems behind. Immortality would mean facing all these problems forever. Hehehe

not at all. I would like to be able to see my family grow and die with them not be a burden to watch everyone around me that I care about die time after time. It is great to say you want to live forever but that is a long time. I would rather just live a normal life and go with the flow.

The fact that we have only a certain amount of time on earth is what makes life so special. It gets us out of bed. It has us go look at sunsets and go on special vacations. It is in effect, the meaning of life.

Tough one... the idea of outliving my children and friends is hard to deal with...
I would say no. Solely for the fact that I would imagine it would be an incredibly lonely existance after a while.

I would drink 1/3
give 1/3 to my husband
and 1/3 to our daughter
(it would be heartbreaking to loose either of them)
