So I opened the index.html file in GoLive, removed and replaced some text, did save as index.html, uploaded it in the same folder, and now the page has the proper text, but all the images and links and other content are missing and broken, and all I can see are, I think, frames. I didn't design the site, but I need to update this text right now. Help please? Oh, and anyone with comments like, "hire a designer" can save it, okay? Do you really want "points" that badly? Thanks in advance for some honest help with this.

I want to update the text in the Kids Tinkering Section, and all I did was take the existing page and paste new text in. When I resaved it and uploaded, it was all weird and blank.

likely one of your opening or closing tags are not closed and causing trouble all the way down the line. That is the most common, email me the page if you want and I can take a look at it, no promises but I am a web designer :)

you need to use relative links like
images/sample.jpg
versus connecting links to your folder in your hard drive.
