Yeah, by a huge 900+lb male Roosevelt Elk in Prarie Creek State Park in California. Me & two friends had just come off of a trail to the beach and the next thing I realize is that elk bucks were butting heads because it was the rutting season. So I tried a different trail to the beach and low & behold a huge buck with a massive rack on his head appeared out of nowhere from the trees. It amasing how such a big animal can hide in a forest 100 feet in front of you. He stood his ground and snorted at us, which caused my friend Tom to turn & run yelling the opposite direction. That must have made the buck angry cause then he started digging into the ground with his front hoof, which caused my other friend to turn & run. So I was just left standing there not making any fast movements and slowly started taking steps back. Next thing I knew, the buck was lunging towards me at full speed. It took a second to realize I was going to get run over because it was so much like the nature channel & I was just amazed at this huge beast; so I turned and ran faster than I've ever had in my life. I pasted up both of my friends who turned and ran before me & I heard my friend Tom say "What the..." as I passed him. Next thing I hear is Tom screaming bloody murder because he realizes he is now last in line. I ran 200 feet, hopped over an 8' wide creek like an olympic track star, ran up a 45 degree slop, and hide in a bunch of trees. My freinds followed me in & were worried that the buck could get us there. I told them no worries, the buck's rack was too big to get into the trees. So the buck couldn't get us, but he was one pissed off mammal! He snorted at us through the trees and encircled the tress we were in. Me being how I am and all, reached out through the trees to pet the buck; well he didn't like that & it just mad him more mad. We were stuck up in to tree cluster for about five minutes before a ranger showed up & shooed the animal away. Man, talk about excitement! Its something that my friends & I still talk about when we get together. So a bit of warning, in Northern California, its not the bear or mountain lion that is the most dangerous animal in the woods, its the Elks!

I grew up in Germany and had a friend whose father was a game warden in a big forest. She knew her way around in that forest and we'd go hiking deep, deep into the woods.

One day we heard a lot of rustling and grunting in the underbrush. There was a wild boar charging through the woods, defending its territory. We set off in run with this thing crashing behind us - it was really scary.

Fortunately, we came upon a hunter's lookout and climbed up the ladder to the top. The boar remained at the bottom (of course) and made a big show for quite a while. Eventually it left and we were able to get down and scurry home.

If you've never seen a wild boar - they're very large, very fast and very mean.

the answer is yes. While in elementary school, most of the student populous went home for lunch. On just such a day, must have been mid-October, as there was a hint of snow, I, a youth of six and a first grader, passed some curb side garbage cans. A dog was also there and object to me being in the area. I ran, he ran faster and bit me on the right buttocks. The local authorities located the dog, which was found to be non-rabbit, and informed my concerned parents at the hospital, and saving me from a series of shots.

Me, my siblings, and my cousins used to go out to a field down the raod from where I grew up, and we'd try our best to antagonize the bulls and cows there-yeah, we were really bored. Without fail we would get the bulls to chase us and would run for our lives. My cousin John got clipped by the horns once, but us girls would usually scramble up a tree. The only problem with that was that when you get ten girls on a skinny little branch, it'll crack and send ya free falling. Then came Junior Cowart with his shotgun and we would have to find refuge in the woods until he stopped shooting in the air. Man, those were good times!

I was on a mini bike with my brother driving. A neighbor's large mutt (part German Shepherd) chased us down the street, going about 3 mph. He bit me on the leg. It wasn't too bad but he took out a chunk of skin. Pretty traumatic for an 8 year old. I still love dogs though.

My neighbors pitt bull chased after me as an adult dog. When it was a puppy, it was so lovable and sweet, I did not fear it, however, when it grew to its full size and barked and chased anything and everything that passed the house..I became very afraid. and once while going out to my car it barked and growled at me and I ran into my garage and barely got inside, where I called Animal control....

YES!!!! A darn chow dog and no it didn't catch me i was pretty fast and only had to go a little way to the police station where my uncle was the chief of police needless to say the dog was put to sleep and the owners were ticketed because they let the dog out to run the streets and it was viscous.

Yeah. In my college animal science class, I (and a few others) were caught in the middle of a sheep stampede. In that same animal science class, I was also ruffed up by a cow. When I was younger, a stray dog chased me but I outran him.

This is kinda off topic, but I've had a recurring theme in my dreams since childhood. It's about being chased by a tyranosaurus rex. I usually run inside of a building to avoid it, but it somehow gets inside too.
