I have not used any other brand of make up after switch to the Bare Minerals last summer. It's so natural looking and just feels like you are not wearing anything at all. If you are really interested in trying it, I would suggest buying a starter kit from Ulta or Sephore. It comes with a How-To DVD, flawless coverage brush, 2 foundations, mineral veil, and warmth (bronzer) for only $45.00. That way if you don't like it, you won't waste like $25/per bottle. I've never been unhappy with it. So go out and try it, you won't be disappointed.

Yes, it's great, but it depends what kind of skin you have. I would reccomend it for normal to oily skin because if your skin is dry, Bare Escentuals might make it even drier. It looks like you aren't wearing make-up and you can't even feel it. If you go to Ulta, you can get a whole kit of Bare Escentuals in your exact color for only $45.00, so it's a really good deal.

I've been using it for a year now and love it. I'll never go back to liquid again. If you have dry skin, it may not be for you. I have oily and haven't had a problem at all. It comes with a mineral veil that helps absorb oil too. I'd buy the kit first because you get all the brushes, 2 different colors to play around with, the mineral veil and a warmth (type of bronzer). So worth it. I get compliments much more on my skin now and it looks so natural.

I started using it about 6 months ago. I have acne and oily skin, and it's the only makeup that doesn't make me break out that I've ever tried. It covers really well, but still looks natural, and it absorbs my oil without making me look unnaturally matte. I LOVE the brushes you get when you order the starter kit from the TV commercial. It's expensive, about $25 for a full-sized container, but it lasts about six months, so you don't have to spend it too often, plus you never have to buy any liquid foundation or concealer or other powder ever again, so in that sense it's not a bad deal. I just love it!

I used for six months and it was very cakey on my very dry face and I didn't apply it heavily. However, my sister is super oily and she uses it along with proactiv and loves it. So I guess it all depends on the person, the type of skin, and how you like your makeup to look on your face. QVC has a 30-day money back guarantee so if you tried it and didn't like it you would get your money back. So basically its up to you and how you like your makeup...it wouldn't hurt to try it from QVC and send it back if it doesn't work for you. Good luck!!

i use the foundation and bronzing powder and eyeshadow and the mineral veil. the foundation does burn and itch a little if its hot outside. but i have rosacea which makes my skin very sensitive anyway. i love bare minerals makeup. you can blend and mix alot of colors together too to make your own makeup. great coverage and it looks flawless. but you have to apply it with the brushes and the way they tell you how to do it.

I used to use it. It does not work good for people with oily skin, it will look good right after you apply it but within an hour it will start to melt off.
