They can stay in it or u can take them out. Just make sure that you take out water they are already in and put them aside as long as the container is clean and no soap or anything in it. It sounds like a very nice tank!

No, you shouldn't change all the water. It CAN hurt the fish and the whole environment of the tank. It takes time to condition the water. After time, it builds up benefitial bacteria that helps break down "bad stuff" Especially in a tank that big.

No. Moving the fish will only cause more stress. Just be careful and watch where you're siphoning to make sure you don't suck any of the smaller guys up.

And for the future, try to do 20-30% water changes weekly. Anything less, and you're asking for your nitrates to be way high, which can and will lead to illness in the tank.

Good luck!

just put them in a bucket, and then clean the aquarium from there. you can take all the water out even though people say it kills the fish. it doesnt, the fish just needs to get used to the water and it takes a bout 10 mins to do so, anyway. hope that helps. and while you clean the tank, add some plants and features in to. even a water risistant light can help add effect.

There is no harm done to the fish when you vacuum the gravel. Make sure that the water you put back in is a similar temperature and that your heater is unplugged as it will burn out or crack easily.

removing the fish causes uneeded stress and they can be kept in the tank. just make sure you dont throw the fish out with the water :)

if you absolutely have to, they can be kept in the bucket as long as you want, provided they have an air pump.

You don't have to remove them.
If you want to, I suggest a bucket. They can stay in there a long time, so no need to worry about them dying. Make sure it is a clean bucket.
