Not even close. Insects outweight humans by over a thousand times. Food chain is like a pyramid. The base is much larger than the peak.

yes, but I am distressed to see a lot of negative value judgements about this fact on this thread. We should be pleased that there are more insects in mass than people, because otherwise we would be in very, very serious trouble. For example, insects pollinate plants that we eat and use, they aerate the soil and allow water to penetrate into it, and leaf litter and stubble to recycled into it, allowing for far more productive agricultural land. With fewer insects (of some sorts) we would be very seriously stuffed. Even malaria-carrying mosquitoes can be argued to be important for limiting human populations and strengthening the gene pool of humanity.

yes they do greatly, Did you know that if you weighed all the animal in the world and added there weight together then added all the ants in the world weight together the ants would weigh more. : )
