Have deleted them from both my screen and address book but they keep coming back?

Adding them to my ignore list failed to fix the problem. They keep popping back on my list every time I start up messenger. They never page me but I can't seem to erase them.

You can add them to your ignore list...then they can't contact you.

on yahoo messenger go to "messenger" menu option, select preferences off the menu, then select the "ignore list" tab, and add them to that list.

make yourself apear permantly offilne to that contact or you can choose ignore in a conversation

When they IM you, do you click on IGNORE to block them?
