I expected it but wish it was different. I hope the congress can muster up the six votes they need to override it...
the bill only used cells that are already slated for destruction.
I lived with my fathers parkensons for nearly20 yrs and have many friends who have parents with dimentia and other diseases... there is so very much that these cells could do and the research is being done just not in america...

I'm glad he did that. We already have NON embryonic stem cells available via Adult stem cells, and from the umbilical cords of fully developed new born babies. There has been no studies or proof brought forward to say that any further advances would be made with the Embryonic Stem cells. Kudos to the Chief!

The man's an idiot. I certainly hope he doesn't need a stem cell derived cure in the future... Embryonic stem cell research aids our research of adult stem cells. Without it, we wouldn't have discovered the potential of adult stem cells. We just need a bit of research to further our research and expand on our knowledge of the (thankfully at least a bit more ethical) adult stem cell.

Well I like that they passed the legislation to ban Fetal Farms. But I still say they need more funding for stem cell research for research on ones that were going to be destroyed anyways.

Good that you understand that it is still going on, without tax money.

Everybody is screaming about the debt, and the same ones are crying, "SPEND MORE".

i think he's stupid and he's got his head too far up his butt.

he needs to realize that this could be a groundbreaking discovery if someone figures it out. idk. he just pisses me off sometimes. he shouldn't even be the president. and he looks like a monkey. he thinks like one, too.
