I am a lesbian and in love with my straight best friend. She knows about it and accepts it. We have a great relationship as friends. I respect her completly but I find it really hard not to be able to show my feelings. Does it get eassier or should I just quite on our friendship.

Why not has she said otherwise.
I think if you respect how she feels and she knows how you feel but still wants to be your friend. Then don't give up on friendship, just try to put your eyes somewhere else, if you want that friendship to last don't jeopardize what you have.

The thing is if you did try something (relationship wise) and it didn't work out, not only would you be out a girlfriend you wouldn't have your friend anymore. If she really is a good person, nice, etc., I would keep her as a friend, because good friends are hard to find.

well maybe not, maybe later on ur feelings will subside and u will realize that u two are better of as friends. dont give up on ur friendship. try to hold back with ur feelings, i know its hard, but if it makes her uncomfortable and shes ur friend u have to respect that. good luck!

u should continue it and it will get easier! just ask her if she will always b ur friend and if she says yes you know that u can show and share your feelings with her and express to her how u want to feel.
