if you're in a customer service position, what's the strangest thing you've ever seen from a customer? i worked c-stores for years and the strangest i've ever had was a naked couple on halloween. they came in, bought orange juice and left without a stitch of clothing on. i'm curious if you have any good stories.

mine was not a store, but a hotel. We were expected to have a hurricane hit on the coast of NC and I had a guy call to make reservations to come down from CT so that he could say he'd been in a hurricane. (OK, it's up to him right) Well he got his wish, the hurricane hit, we lost power, cable, services, there was a curfew and basically the hotel was a city unto itself as no one could leave. This "gentleman" got P.O. cause he didn't have power and couldn't watch TV-he was bored what was he suppose to do? I swear this was the question he posed to me,at full volume, in the middle of the lobby full of people stranded from the storm. The mass of people gave him quite a few suggestions, with some involving objects and a lower part of his anatomy. He went to his room and stayed there till the storm was over and then checked out as soon as he could.

That is so weird! I was just thinking today of how I had seen one of those signs that says "No shirt, no shoes, no service." Then I thought of how some jerk could walk in with shoes and a shirt, but nothing else on! And I wondered how I would handle that (probably call the cops--actually, that is what you should have done....they had indecent exposure).
To answer you question: years ago, I was a busboy at a restaurant and we had an "it" come in, sit down and order food. We could not tell if it was a man or woman. The person was NOT a transvestite. He/she was not trying to look like something that they were not. The person was quite busty but with long hair and no facial hair. It was confusing. The waitresses did not know who or what it was. Odd. It seemed to be a long haired man with man boobs. Eeek!

I was working the drive-thru window at McDonalds during the overnight shift the other night. It was 4 am, we switch to breakfast at 3am. A customer came to the sign, I asked for her breakfast order, and she started to beg us to make a Big Mac for her. I had her drive to the window and explained to her that all the lunch stuff was put away now and that we couldn't do it. She kept begging. I put on my 'service face' and said, 'Im sorry, but we're on the breakfast menu right now.' She said that I dont have a personality. I turned around and walked away, leaving her at the window. Why are so many customers so rude to fast food employees?

You'll probably receive a few lies here and there when it comes to this question. I'm a computer technicican, I had a customer called me about their computer, when I showed up she asked me to fix the bad smell that was coming out of the computer, well it turned out she had a dead (skeleton) mouse. A different customer, when I showed up she kept on insisting her husband was going to be home pretty soon, I did not care either way I was there to fix her pc, too make a long story short her husband had passed away years ago. pretty spooky ah!

How about a nightmare story. I worked for our local cable company. A MAJOR FOOTBALL GAME was on (I'm not into football so it didn't mean that much to me) -- a construction company had some sort of a truck that dug up dirt -- it cut one of the biggest cables in the county and probably about 80% of people couldn't watch the game. GUESS WHO'S FAULT IT WAS????? You got it ---- mine. I don't think I've ever said "I'm sorry" so much in my life and still got cussed out for apologizing!!

I saw a black lady with the head of a liion on her head one day at the restaurant where I work at. She was really loud and obnoxious, so some other of my customers left.

yeah I do loans and we are not allowed to let anyone in the back for security purpose and this lady need to use the restroom and I told her she could go next door and we would finish the transaction when she got back,well she said no ...then she said " well i guess i don't have to go i just peed!
that smelled soooo bad and left a big yellow stain on the carpet YUCK!!!

i saw a girl with pink hair and she showed her chest to all who was looking yes she had a bra on but just almost if you know what i mean
