I need a new job. In about a year, i'll be moving to a new city where I am very interested in a job in sales. To land this job, I figure it'll probably be best to get a job right now in sales to "boost" my resume. Would anyone recommend a car salesperson? Or any other sales related job???

Two of my best friends are car salesman and its definately an aquired career. If you arent good youre not gonna make it. It also can take a toll on your conscience because what it boils down to is trying to weasel more money out of people. It also doesnt boost your resume in any way except if you wanted another car sales job.

Hi AZ car sales is a good job if you keep your morals in place!
The biggest mistake someone makes in any business is not to be honest about what your selling or don't sell,... Tell if a car is junk tell the person its junk if it has just went Thru the shop tell whats been done to it and you will never have a problem in any trade you choose! I'm currently in seven different businesses and I just sold my car lot 8 months ago I had for 10 years and never had one complaint to the better business bureau! As far as your resume if you go into it become one of the best top producers and it will always add to your resume if your looking for something you can take anywhere look at these sites

My personal opinion is that car salesmen r thieves, just out for themselves. But then again, they wer pretty honest when it came to court, on what was said on the sales lot and all.
I guess, they r like anyone else, they r out ot make a living, but from personal experience, they r pretty honest peeps when it all comes down to it.

Sell new cars. Don't sell Used cars. Used car salespeople can't be trusted. You're better off selling shoes in Nordstroms; I heard commission is good.
